Localise uses or generates files of types folowing:
- .strings
: type Object.property
= Texte.
as: "38.title" = "What's your name?" ;
- .plist
: compound files, see ibtool manual.
- .dict
: two languages dictionary, as : "bouteilles" = "bottles" ;
- .nib,
.xib
: Interface Builder documents.
- .txt,
.ok.txt
: informations files for programer.
.strings,
.plist and
.dict files are "Property List" files coded ASCII or XML.
For each work,
Localise needs file paths as parameters.
Depending work to do, in Folder or AppProj mode
Localise uses for a unic name:
- All files whose extension is in extension list
- The newest file whose extension is in extension list (one file)
Attention: some
.nib old files or generated using old plug-ins can't be traited by
Localise.
In these cases you can try to return under OSx 10.5 with Xcode 3.1
or under OSx 10.4 with Xcode 2.5 and you update the nib
file to be in accordance with Xcode you use. Some
.nib recent files can be opened only under Xcode used for creating them!
