Localise
automates necessary works to localize projects or applications.
- Localise
works on .xib
files or editable
or compiled .nib
files.
- Localise
has no text editor. Use external text editor (UTF-16 prefered
coding).
- In folder or AppProj mode, works are applied on files with
same root name:
As example: cactus.xib ->
cactus.strings -> cactus.dict -> cactus.txt ........
- Starting the work, Localise
checks paths and their interwoven. Possibly, work is stoped
and error message is displayed or writed in console.
- In File mode, error stops the work. In folder or AppProj
mode,
error report is writed in console then work continues with next file.
- In AppProj mode, root of name <lang>.lproj
or <lang>.model
of selected folder give reference language <lang> to Localise. Works will start at
container folder of this selected folder.
- In AppProj mode, Localise
search in all sub-folder in the container folder and apply the required functions on all sub-project found.
- Files of <lang>
reference will be used as models for all translation/generation.
Attention:
in Folder or AppProj mode, generated files overwrite existing files
automaticaly without warning to the user.
